I ran for the first time in nearly two weeks from Monday of Thanksgiving week to tonite, Thursday. I was worried about regression after such a long layoff but I felt good and strong running. So good in fact that I ran the last quarter mile of my one mile run/walk. That was a first and I felt really good about myself after finishing the last lap and as a reward I did four 100 meter sprints to finish tonite’s activity. I just gotta stay focused, continue my training, and keep pushing myself mentally and physically to complete a one mile run.
