Family on Friday

A rare occurrence happened which compels me to record it. My family took our Boston Terrier for a walk on the beach at Diamond Head. The kids came through the sheer force of my wife’s will, I very much enjoyed it and would love to have it happen more but … The kids had a good time the sunset was spectacular and the wife and I got some great pictures

Next shooter is my Olympus Pen EEs, I’m attempting to document my gear as I got them chronologically. This is a half frame camera so out of a 24 exposure roll I ended up with 48+ shots. Interesting camera because the cells around the lens determine the exposure level for the photo. I have a roll developed and scanned from this camera, next time I process film I will have to specify to the lab I’d like two shots per picture and if they could scan my negatives at a higher resolution. All pictures except those of the camera taken by the PEN EEs

Here’s another shooter from my gear collection.

Yashica Electro 35 GS produced from 1970 to 1973. I bought it in mid November 2016 but I have not shot it yet. (shot with an iPhone 6)

Gotta include a pic of Mr. Button

A rare event for me watching the sunrise at Diamond Head. (shot with an iPhone 6)

Off season paddling

The last week has been warmer than usual for January. The wind has been coming from the south which has led to heavy vog over the island but beautiful conditions on the water. I love paddling when the winds are kona because the water is so clear and flat. The vog from Kilauea also enhances the sunsets. Here are photos from the past few days of paddling.
