November 2020 binge watch

Slowed down some in my movie watching:

Bravados (1958) – starring Gregory Peck and directed by Henry King. About a rancher tracking four men he believes murdered his wife.

Decision at Sundown (1957) – starring Randolph Scott directed by Budd Boetticher, a tale of revenge brought to the screen by this underrated actor/director combo.

Fisherman’s Friends (2019) – a British comedy based on a true story about the oldest boy band ever to crack Britain’s Top 10 music chart.

The Gunfighter (1950) – starring Gregory Peck as gunfighter Jimmy Ringo and directed by Henry King.

Near Dark (1987) – neo-Western horror film directed by Kathry Bigelow of Point Break, Hurt Locker and Zero Dark Thirty fame.

Queen’s Gambit (2020) – Netflix limited series about a chess prodigy in the 1960’s. My wife could not stop raving about the main character’s clothes, the story was great too.

Seven Men From Now (1956) – revenge Western and the first film from the trio of Budd Boetticher, Burt Kennedy and Randolph Scott.
