Trying different sitting positions and rudder pedals placement during my paddling. Sat my butt to the edge of the seat paddling upwind after the first mile and the Volare seemed to cut through water much better and the nose of the boat wasn’t getting pushed as much by the wind and waves. After the first mile going down wind I adjusted the rudder pedals all the way forward and I felt like I could catch bumps a bit easier with my center of gravity shifted forward. Amazing how the boat responds to little adjustments.

Currently I write about my film cameras and sometimes post images. My other hobby is outrigger canoe paddling and I'll post about that too. I wrote about my work as a librarian briefly but stopped. This started as a blog about my gardening work at home. View all posts by dionyb
